By downloading or using walked. ("the App") or this website, you agree to these terms. The App is published by Walked. Inc ("we," "our," "us"), a corporation incorporated federally in Canada under the Canada Business Corporations Act, corporation number 1800762-4, with its registered office in Calgary, Alberta. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
walked. is a faith-based app for personal Christian practice: a daily walk built on four doors (pray, repent, declare, resist), the complete King James Bible with an exhaustive concordance, guided liturgies, and tools for resisting temptation.
It is not medical care, mental health treatment, addiction recovery treatment, pastoral counselling, or a substitute for professional or pastoral help. Nothing in the App is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or clinical advice. If you are struggling, please also seek qualified help.
The App is not an emergency service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911 (US and Canada) or your local emergency number.
If you are experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm, or are in a mental health crisis: 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the US and Canada), or the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741).
The App's Resist and Crisis features provide scriptural support and links to publicly available resources. They do not connect you to a counsellor, a moderator, or a first responder, and no one at Walked. Inc is notified when you use them.
The App is rated 12+ and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and note that a purchase requires an Apple ID that is permitted to make purchases.
Scripture in the App is the King James Version, which is in the public domain, with public-domain reference material for the Hebrew and Greek. Everything else, the liturgies, prayers, topic writing, artwork, video, sound and code, is original work owned by Walked. Inc
The devotional content represents one perspective on Christian discipleship. It is not endorsed by, and does not speak for, any particular denomination, church or ministry.
The complete King James Bible in the App is free and stays free. walked. Pro unlocks everything else. Prices below are in US dollars; your local price is set by Apple for your storefront and is shown to you before you confirm.

Subscribers can share an invitation link to walked. Sharing costs the sender nothing and does not transfer, extend or assign any part of the sender's subscription. An invitation has no cash value, cannot be exchanged or refunded, and may be limited or withdrawn if it is abused.
The Wall is a self-restriction tool for your own device. It runs on Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks, and only after you grant that permission yourself. You choose what to block and you can lower the wall. It is not a monitoring service, a parental-control service, or an accountability-partner service, and nothing about your choices is reported to us or to anyone else.
Because it depends on Apple's frameworks and on your device settings, we cannot guarantee it will block every app, site or route in every circumstance, and it is not a substitute for your own decisions.
walked. does not require an account. Your practice data is stored on your device. What we do and do not receive is set out in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own use. You agree not to:

We may update, change or discontinue features, and we may stop distributing the App. We will not take away a paid period you have already bought without offering a remedy. A lifetime purchase covers the App for as long as we operate it and Apple distributes it.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walked. Inc disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will produce any particular spiritual, behavioural or health outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walked. Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or CAD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Province of Alberta, without limiting any non-waivable right you have to bring a claim where you live.
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App. To the extent Apple's App Store terms conflict with these terms for an App Store purchase, Apple's terms govern that purchase.
We may update these terms. The current version is always at walked.app/terms with the date at the top. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.
